On December 3rd, 2021 we hosted our 2nd Annual End of Year Celebration, where we were able to thank all our supporters, funders, fellows and staff for all that they’ve done to make People Matter successful. We also gave special recognition to People Matter’s 2021 Partner of the Year, Melvin Bridgmon (President of Outreach Chicago) and People Matter’s Volunteers of the Year, Sharad Crosby (2020) and Dakota Burnett (2021).

After six fun and challenging weeks, we finished our pilot Community Language Program (CLP)! Many students loved the program not just because of the language skills, but also the warm and welcoming community. We can’t wait to make our next CLP even more impactful.
