"How to Become an Interpreter" Workshop

As part of our POC Workforce Development Month in September, we hosted a workshop with Bridgeport Free Clinic on how to become an interpreter using medical terms in Cantonese and Mandarin. Attendees not only learned tips on how to be a better interpreter (like where to position themselves in the room where translating is needed) but also received some job resources on where to apply their interpreter skills.
