UPDATE: Archer Courts "Meet and Greet"

With the help of the 25th Ward Alderman’s office, we were able to organize a “meet and greet” between the tenants and new owners of Archer Courts, Prairie Management and Development, LLC and Jonathan Rose Companies. During this meet and greet, tenants and their liaisons were able to speak directly with the Prairie M&D and Rose Construction to have their concerns addressed directly and ensure the necessary updates would be made to the building.

According to Prairie M&D, the goal is to “renovate the building back to its original state” as much as possible, while keeping green energy and sustainability in mind. Construction is scheduled to start sometime in mid-December or early January (depending on supplies/materials) and will run for about 12 months. The main areas to be addressed are: non-functioning heat which will be restored by replacing a broken line, improper ventilation which will be fixed with the help of an engineering firm, and all bathrooms and kitchens will be completely renovated.
