Our tea tasting fundraiser took place on 5/28 at the Chinatown Branch, Chicago Public Library. Students, artists, and community members had an amazing conversation not only about how Chinese culture has shown up in their lives, but we also spoke about the need to decolonize tea, drawing on the events of the Opium War and community building.
