The first meeting with our lovely high school Garden Fellows was earlier this month where we all got to know one another and complete activities around gardening basics. Students are currently designing the cart that they will be using to distribute plants to the community. Throughout this program, we will be teaching Garden Fellows about the benefits of gardening as well as information around a variety of plants and how gardening can benefit the communities in which they live. We are excited to progress within the program and work with students in this community effort.
