Our Black Heroes of Chinatown National Event on 6/9 was amazing! It was the very first time we ever held this award ceremony where we celebrated Black leaders, educators, and community members who live, work, and are HEROES in 4 of the biggest Chinatowns in the nation.
The night was truly fantastic! We not only celebrated our Black Heroes and awarded them for all they do, but we also watched videos from the Black Hero nominators and bonded as a collective over an amazing dinner. We are so thankful to everyone who came out to make the night perfect! We are also so grateful for our Black Heroes’ drive and compassion to their Chinatowns and bridging Black and Asian communities. It means so much more than any of us may understand.
